Pirates, real pirates not Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, but real pirates, took over an American freighter this morning off the horn of Africa report CNN. Around ten o'clock they released the barge and some at AM850 seemed quite disappointed to see the pirates story sink in the middle of FrontPage, but that is really here nor there. Thankfully for CNN and the FrontPage hostes the pirates decided to hold Captain Richard Philips hostage until one of their missing maundering members (I heard it was Geoffrey Rush) was returned. CNN says such pirating should be "a wake up call for Americans," but I don't think this is the real issue. I want to know when Dan Akroyd started sailing around the Cape of Good Hope...
